Robert Falldorf was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. Chief Falldorf earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from then Kearney State College and later earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has worked in various law enforcement positions beginning his service as a Police Officer from 1986 to 1993. Chief Falldorf was promoted to Police Sergeant in 1993 and remained in that position until 2003 when he was promoted to Police Captain. Robert and his wife, Irene, have three children. Chief Falldorf enjoys coaching middle school track, running, hiking, and fishing.
